Rent a yacht in Greece with Greek Water Yachts

In the hallowed presence of the Aegean, where cerulean waves whisper tales of old, Beneath the canvas of the heavens, a maritime saga is about to unfold. O Muse, daughter of Mnemosyne, keeper of poetic flame, I call upon your ethereal essence, to bless this tale with your immortal name.

From the peaks of Amorgos to Iraklia’s tranquil shore, Where ancient myths and modern dreams intertwine, forevermore. Grant me, O Muse, the gift to pen this odyssey with ink dipped in the sea, As we embark on a journey through the Small Cyclades, where every island is a key.

Invoke, O Muse, the spirits of Poseidon’s realm, Guide these seafarers through tempests and storms, at helm. With Jacob, Alexander, Eva, George, and the English poet at the core, Their tales echo through the ages, resonating from shore to distant shore.

Bless this narrative with the essence of Homeric grace, As we navigate the Aegean, a sacred space. Whisper in my ear the secrets of each island, every cove and bay, O Muse, lend your immortal quill to this modern-day epic, I pray.

So, as the sun dips low and the stars begin to gleam, Inscribe upon the parchment of time the adventures of this maritime dream. O Muse, weave the threads of fate into the tapestry of the Cyclades, And let this tale echo through eternity’s cascadingades.

Embark on a captivating week-long sailing odyssey with us, where each day unveils new wonders and experiences across the Cyclades islands.

Day 1: Setting Sail from Paros to Naxos
Meet your seasoned skipper at the Marina cafe at 11:00, marking the commencement of an exhilarating journey. Following a comprehensive briefing, board the sailboat and set sail for Naxos. This initial leg, spanning 3-4 hours, promises awe-inspiring views and the anticipation of exploring Naxos, one of the largest islands in the Cyclades. Take in the historical marvels, including the ancient temple of Apollo, and delight in the exquisite sunset, just a stone’s throw from the marina. Indulge your taste buds with a ‘must-try’ dish – grilled octopus paired with ‘ouzo.’

Day 2: Coastal Exploration to Kalando Bay
Embark on a southward voyage along Naxos’ west coast, making a refreshing stop at the idyllic anchorage of Roga for a leisurely swim and delectable lunch. Your destination is Kalando Bay, a unique enclave offering a safe port for yachts but devoid of a village. Immerse yourself in its isolated charm, boasting a long sandy beach and kilometers of seaside trails, perfect for nature hikes. As evening falls, relish a rustic dinner at a primitive kiosk operated by a local shepherd, featuring BBQ delights with authentic, local products.

Day 3: Enchanting Koufonisi
Set sail from Kalando, heading towards the enchanting island of Koufonisi. Make a brief stop at the mesmerizing Rina spot, where you can enjoy a swim inside a sea cave amidst stunning colors. Koufonisi, known for its pristine sandy beaches, beckons exploration. Rent a bicycle to traverse the island’s beauty, and cap off the day with dinner at the renowned ‘Captain Nicolas’ or a frozen mojito at the windmill bar above the marina.

Day 4: Weather-Adaptable Adventure to Amorgos
Depending on weather conditions, either continue exploring the area, visiting nearby Kato Koufonisi for snorkeling or hiking, or set sail for Amorgos, famously featured in the movie ‘Big Blue.’ Discover the island’s wild beauty, rent a car or bike to visit the iconic monastery, and savor local delights at ‘Xilokeratidi’ for a memorable romantic dinner by the seaside.

Day 5: Tranquil Iraklia
Transition to the serene island of Iraklia, nestled within the ‘Small Cyclades.’ After a refreshing stop for swimming at Antikeros, arrive at Iraklia’s picturesque port. Revel in the tranquility of this tiny, quiet, and isolated paradise, representative of the quintessential Greek spirit. Enjoy an evening of fresh seafood at welcoming local tavernas, surrounded by the pure beauty of nature.

Day 6: Antiparos Exploration
Embark on a 4-5 hour sailing journey to reach the final island of our cruise – Antiparos. Explore the charming village, winding through its small streets, and savor the culinary delights of one of the many local restaurants. As night falls, immerse yourself in the vibrant nightlife, a must-experience, especially during the high season.

Day 7: Discovering Antiparos and Farewell
Before setting sail for our ultimate destination, take time to explore the famous cave of Antiparos. Conveniently, buses operate just 100 meters away from the yacht. Later in the day, anchor at a small island north of Antiparos with crystal-clear waters, providing a serene backdrop for your farewell as the afternoon sun sets at Paros port, concluding an extraordinary week of discovery and adventure.”
